The application process
Nottinghamshire County Council will administer the admissions process for King Edwin Primary School
Our Foundation 2 (Foxes and Badgers) classes are for four-year-olds who turn five during the 2025/2026 school year – their fifth birthday must fall between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026.

Foundation 1 Little Cubs Pre School Setting
If you have a child between the ages of 3 and 4 years old and are looking to access our Foundation 1 pre-school setting, please contact the school office for further details.
We offer 15 and 30 hour provision allocations. Our Foundation 1 (Little Cubs) Leader Mrs Hart will happily arrange an appointment to discuss admission and possible options available.
The admission arrangements for all own admission authority schools in the Nottinghamshire area will be made available on our public website when they are received by the County Council.
Objections to admission arrangements for 2025-2026 of both maintained schools and academies can be made to the Schools Adjudicator who may investigate admission arrangements of any school that the Adjudicator considers do not, or may not, comply with the mandatory requirements of the School Admissions Code or the law.
