KEPS is an outward facing organisation and has links or partnerships across the region. We very much embrace partnerships and we enjoy learning from and supporting others.
We are part of the Sherwood Area Partnership and the Minster Teaching School Alliance. We also have a strong relationship with our Dukeries Area Schools and a local enterprise group – Sherwood Forest Education Partnership. KEPS also supports Nottinghamshire LA Schools through our designated SLE’s
We enjoy working closely with Teacher Training organisations to develop new teachers of the future. We have established excellent links with various universities including Nottingham, Nottingham Trent, Sheffield Hallam, West Notts and Bishop Gotesteste . This relationship has enabled us to develop the careers of several teachers and TA’s and we are extremely proud to be able to nurture and grow our own KEPS staff. This process extends to apprenticeships too through our work with Nottingham College. We have several apprenticeship positions in school and have significantly benefitted from this scheme in recent years.
Our philosophy of ‘Growing, Learning and Achieving Together’ extends beyond the classroom and we believe that we all have a part to play in educating children within KEPS, across our region and far beyond our four walls. In recent times, our use of technology has opened doors way beyond our geographical location and we hope to extend this in the near future.
